They have clean lines, a relaxed structure and one small detail: a subtle EKVAAR embroidery on the left pocket. The Essential Sweatpants are made from 260 GSM terry, 90% cotton and 10% polyester. Terry has small loops on the inside that feel soft against the skin and help absorb moisture, while the smooth outside keeps a clean look. At 260 GSM the fabric has enough weight to drape well and hold its line, yet it stays comfortable through most of the Indian year. The cotton keeps it breathable; the polyester helps the shape recover after wear.
The cut is a unisex relaxed fit: roomy through the leg without being baggy. An elastic waistband with a drawcord lets you set the fit exactly, and two front pockets keep small things close. The Essential Sweatpants come in Noor Black, the most useful colour for a bottom you will wear often. Noor Black pairs with every tee and hoodie, hides a long day well and looks smart in the evening. The only mark is the small EKVAAR embroidery on the left pocket. They belong to the Layers house of the EKVAAR House of Originals, built as a base for everything you put on top.
Start with a classic crew tee, an oversized hoodie or a zip jacket. The CORE crew tee in Rui White makes the cleanest pairing; the ORIGINAL zip hoodie adds warmth on cooler days.
