Size guide – oversize T-shirts
This oversize T-shirt size guide covers EKVAAR’s oversized cotton tees from XS to 2XL, in inches. Terry and all-over-print oversized tees have their own charts in the size guide.
Measurements are of the finished garment in inches. Chest is the full circumference: double your flat chest width before comparing. The size guide beside the options on the product page takes precedence over these general charts.

How to read the oversize T-shirt size chart
Every number is a measurement of the finished oversize T-shirt. Chest is the full distance around it, so double a flat measurement across the front. Length runs from the highest point of the shoulder to the hem, and shoulder runs from seam to seam across the back.
Each step adds 2 inches of chest, 1 inch of length and 1 inch of shoulder. An XS oversize T-shirt measures 40 inches around the chest, 27 inches long and 18 inches across the shoulder; a medium measures 44, 29 and 20; a 2XL measures 50, 32 and 23.

Oversize vs regular, in numbers
Against our regular T-shirt size chart, the oversize T-shirt is 4 inches wider around the chest, 2 inches longer and 2 inches wider across the shoulder in the same size. In a medium, that is 44 against 40 inches of chest, 29 against 27 of length, and 20 against 18 of shoulder. The wider shoulder is what drops the seam onto the upper arm.

Size down, size up or stay true?
The fit note puts it simply: size down for a cleaner look, size up for a relaxed street fit. Your usual size gives the shape an oversize T-shirt is cut for, and the FORM Oversized Tee’s details say to take your usual size. One size down brings the chest 2 inches in and the hem 1 inch up; one size up does the opposite.
Measure a T-shirt you already own
- Lay a T-shirt you like flat on a table and smooth it out.
- Measure across the chest, just below the armholes, and double the number.
- Measure from the highest point of the shoulder down to the hem.
- Measure across the back from one shoulder seam to the other.
- Compare with the chart, and decide whether you want the cleaner or the roomier fit.

Length and proportion
Oversize T-shirt length runs from 27 inches in XS to 32 inches in 2XL. If you are shorter, check where 29 inches (a medium) would fall on you before sizing up for room, because the extra length shows first. If you are tall, the length may matter more than the chest. Our oversized fit guide works through sizes by height and weight. Available sizes vary by product.

Before you reserve
Each product page has a Size guide link beside the size options, and that piece’s own measurements take precedence over this chart: compare the FORM Oversized Tee, the LOOP Oversized Tee and the HOSTILU Oversized Tee. Every oversize T-shirt is made in India for you once you reserve it, and wrong-size selections can’t be exchanged, so ask us at info@ekvaar.com if a number isn’t clear.
For each measurement in detail, read our size & fit guide. For the garment itself, see T-shirt on Wikipedia.
